Choosing a Nursery
We understand that choosing a nursery for your child is a difficult thing to do. We offer opportunities for parents to come and view our nursery and meet the staff team. We welcome questions and try to provide as much information to parents via the website to help you make an informed decision about what is right for your family. If it takes more than one visit to decide, then that’s fine with us too.
Want to know more about the measures we have in place during the pandemic? Head to our Coronavirus information page to find out more.
Settling in visits – Babies and children vary greatly in the time it takes to get used to a new environment. Once the registration process is complete, we encourage short, regular visits to nursery so children and parents alike can learn about nursery life and meet the team. We like to find out as much as possible about your child before they start and will ask questions about their likes, dislikes, daily routine, comforters, sleep patterns and special people in their family.
Our key person system ensures that every child has an adult to spend time with and develop a special bond with whilst at nursery. Your child’s key person will work with you to find out about your child’s individual likes and dislikes and will support your child as they learn all about the nursery routine.
Learning and Development
We know parents and Carers love to find out about their child’s day at nursery, and we make sure information is shared daily. Information is shared via a secure app, here you will be able to find out about your child’s day without having to remember all the details as pickup time! More information about our Parenta Portal system can be found here.
Parents can also share special events and milestones with nursery via the app, so we can work together to support your child’s development.
